Warranty terms
1. General information
This page describes the warranty policy for products purchased from the Xpand Gaming store.
The warranty is provided in accordance with European Union law and applicable regulations in the Netherlands.
2. Scope of the product warranty
A. Computer components
All new components come with a manufacturer's warranty lasting from 12 to 36 months , depending on the component type and brand.
This includes, among others:
- processors
- motherboards
- graphics cards
- RAM
- SSD / HDD drives
- power supplies
- housings
- cooling (air and water)
The exact warranty period is specified on the product page or manufacturer's specifications.
B. Assembled computers (custom/standard kits)
Computers assembled by Xpand Gaming are covered by the following warranties:
- 12 months for the entire set ,
- manufacturers' warranty on individual components (12–36 months).
- The warranty covers:
- malfunction of components,
- sudden factory damage,
- incorrect operation of the set resulting from assembly.
Does not include:
- damage caused by the user's fault,
- mechanical damage,
- electrical surges,
- modification of equipment by third parties,
- interference with water cooling after purchase.
C. Decorated computers (3D motifs, accessories, figurines, lighting)
Decorative elements include:
- 6 months store warranty (unless otherwise stated),
- manufacturer's warranty if the decorative element comes from an external company.
The warranty covers:
- problems with mounting,
- damage caused during standard use (if resulting from the installation of decorations),
- 3D elements pre-installed by Xpand Gaming.
The warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by courier transport (decorated computers cannot be shipped ),
- fractures, cracks or detachments resulting from improper use,
- changes in shape or color resulting from exposure to heat, moisture or external factors.
3. What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover:
- mechanical damage (fall, impact, fractures),
- flooding of equipment,
- overvoltages or incorrect power supply,
- attempts at independent repairs or interference by third parties,
- incorrect assembly of components after purchase,
- overheating resulting from lack of maintenance (e.g. dirty filters),
- software problems, viruses, system errors,
- BIOS/UEFI modifications, OC, undervolting, flashing, tuning.
4. How to file a warranty claim?
To file a complaint, please prepare:
- order number,
- description of the fault,
- photos or recording of the problem (if possible),
- information about when the problem occurred.

The store will respond within 1-3 business days and may take up to 14 days to fully process.
5. Where should I deliver my computer or components for service?
Decorated computers:
Returns or warranty claims must only be made in person – they cannot be sent by courier.

Standard products (without decoration):
Can be delivered:
- in person, or
- shipped by courier (appropriately secured).
6. Repair time
- On-site repair: 1–3 days
- Shipping the component to the manufacturer: 7–30 days
- Component replacement: up to 14 days
If the repair requires sending the equipment to the manufacturer, the customer will be informed.
7. Exchange or refund
Possible if:
- repair is impossible,
- lack of spare parts,
- the component is unrepairable.
Forms of solution:
- replacement with the same model,
- replacement with an equivalent model,
- partial or full refund (depending on the age of the equipment and the type of fault).
8. Customer Responsibility
The client is responsible for:
- safe delivery of equipment,
- securing standard products during shipment,
- keeping the set clean and ventilated,
- no damage to service seals (if any).
9. Loss of warranty
The warranty may be voided if:
- the customer interfered with the equipment in an unauthorized manner,
- modifications were made to decorations or structural elements,
- the equipment was used for purposes other than its intended purpose,
- the decorated computer was sent by courier (against the rules).
10. Final provisions
The store reserves the right to update the warranty terms.
