Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

This page describes the warranty conditions for products purchased in the Xpand Gaming store.
Warranty is provided in accordance with European Union legislation and current regulations in the Netherlands.

2. Warranty Scope for Products

A. Computer Components

All new components have a manufacturer's warranty of 12 to 36 months, depending on the component type and brand.

This includes, among others:

  • processors
  • motherboards
  • graphics cards
  • RAM memory
  • SSD / HDD drives
  • power supplies
  • cases
  • cooling (air and water)

The exact warranty period is stated on the product page or in the manufacturer's specification.

B. Assembled Computers (custom / standard sets)

Computers assembled by Xpand Gaming have a warranty:

  • 12 months on the complete set,
  • manufacturer's warranty on individual components (12–36 months).
  • Warranty covers:
  • defective operation of components,
  • sudden factory damage,
  • incorrect operation of the set due to assembly.

Does not cover:

  • damage caused by user error,
  • mechanical damage,
  • electrical surges,
  • equipment modifications by third parties,
  • intervention in water cooling after purchase.

C. Decorated Computers (3D themes, accessories, figures, lighting)

Decorative elements have:

  • 6 months store warranty (unless otherwise specified),
  • manufacturer's warranty, if the decorative element originates from an external company.

Warranty covers:

  • assembly problem,
  • damage occurring during normal use (if resulting from decoration assembly),
  • 3D elements factory assembled by Xpand Gaming.

Does not cover:

  • damage caused by courier transport (decorated computers may not be shipped),
  • breakages, cracks or detachments due to improper use,
  • shape changes or color shifts due to exposure to heat, humidity or external factors.

3. What is not covered by warranty?

Warranty does not cover:

  • mechanical damage (fall, impact, breakage),
  • water damage to equipment,
  • surges or improper power supply,
  • attempts at self-repair or intervention by third parties,
  • improper assembly of components after purchase,
  • overheating due to lack of maintenance (e.g. clogged filters),
  • software problems, viruses, system errors,
  • BIOS/UEFI changes, OC, undervolting, flashing, tuning.

4. How to submit a warranty claim?

To submit a claim, prepare:

  • order number,
  • description of the defect,
  • photos or video of the problem (if possible),
  • information on when the problem occurred.

The store will respond within 1–3 working days, and full processing can take up to 14 days.

5. Where to deliver your computer or components for service?

Decorated computers:

Returns or warranty claims must be made in person only – they may not be shipped by courier.

Standard products (without decoration):

Can be delivered:

  • in person, or
  • shipped by courier (properly secured).

6. Repair Time

  • On-site repair: 1–3 days
  • Sending component to manufacturer: 7–30 days
  • Replacing component: up to 14 days

If repair requires sending to the manufacturer – the customer will be informed.

7. Replacement or Refund

Possible if:

  • repair is impossible,
  • replacement parts are missing,
  • component cannot be repaired.

Form of resolution:

  • replacement with the same model,
  • replacement with equivalent model,
  • partial or full refund (depending on equipment age and defect type).

8. Customer Responsibility

Customer is responsible for:

  • safe delivery of equipment,
  • security of standard products during shipment,
  • cleanliness and ventilation of the set,
  • not damaging service seals (if present).

9. Loss of Warranty

Warranty may be revoked if:

  • customer has tampered with equipment without authorization,
  • decoration or structural elements have been altered,
  • equipment has been used contrary to its purpose,
  • decorated computer has been shipped by courier (against regulations).

10. Final Provisions

The store reserves the right to update warranty conditions.
